How fast an object accelerates across inclined plane?

Suppose that a block with mass 35 kg is sliding down a frictionless inclined plane slanted at a 70 degree angle. Find how fast it is accelerating across the inclined plane.

Note that the normal force and the weight are the only two forces acting on the block.

Be sure to show your work.|||The force acting down the slope is m*g*sin(theta). The acceleration is g*sin(theta).

So a=9.81*sin(70) = 9.22m/s^2

This can be shown by:

The weight force is mg acting straight down and the normal force is mg*cos(theta) acting perpendicular to the surface. The resultant force is mg*sin(theta) acting down the plane.
