How long do you stop on the ground for the plane to refuel when going from heathrow to sydney?

when you go on the plane to sydney, do you stay on the same plane, and how long are you on the ground for , while they re-fuel the plane?|||BA and Qantas fly via Singapore, LA, Bangkok, Hong Kong to Sydney. You would have to disembark the Aircraft for security reasons and reboard the Aircraft after atleast 1 hour. This is also as the Crew changes over as they can't fly all the way to OZ due to their working hours.|||60 minutes|||Just depends who your flying with, Singapore airlines tend to be on the ground for 90 minuets, some stay for 2 hours but others for just an hour, if you look on an airline booking website you will be able to see how long each airway stays on the ground.|||A Boeing 747 400 series would not have to refuel on this journey. But it may be that a stopover is scheduled to either drop off or pick up passengers. In which case it could be around 2 hrs.You may be allowed to disembark in transit.|||This will vary tremendously depending on which airline you are using.

The cheapest stop like commuter buses and take days to do the trip whereas the more expensive (e.g. BA, QANTAS) can fly straight through.

Check your wallet then choose your airline.
