How much a basic Ultralight Plane with two seats can cost?

-Does someone know how much a basic Ultralight Plane with two seats can cost?

-How expensive could be the maintenance?

-What about the cost of the license?

-Where can they fly over, are there limitations?

Thanks a lot, guys!

Carlos.|||1.Two seaters do not qualify as a ultra light.

An ultralight vehicle is a vehicle that:

Is used or intended to be used for manned operation in the air by a single occupant;

Is used or intended to be used for recreation or sport purposes only;

Does not have any U.S. or foreign airworthiness certificate; and

If unpowered, weighs less than 155 pounds; or

If powered:

Weighs less than 254 pounds empty weight, excluding floats and safety devices which are intended for deployment in a potentially catastrophic situation;

Has a fuel capacity not exceeding 5 U.S. gallons;

Is not capable of more than 55 knots calibrated airspeed at full power in level flight; and

Has a power-off stall speed which does not exceed 24 knots calibrated airspeed

2. Could be free if you are mechanically inclined. (parts are another story)

3.No "license" required for a ultra light in the US

4.None

5. No person may operate an ultralight vehicle within Class A, Class B, Class C, or Class D airspace or within the lateral boundaries of the surface area of Class E airspace designated for an airport unless that person has prior authorization from the ATC facility having jurisdiction over that airspace.

No person may operate an ultralight vehicle in prohibited or restricted areas unless that person has permission from the using or controlling agency, as appropriate.|||198,000.00 the newly invented car that holds up its wings and parks in a garage.

Maintenance would be the same as any other.|||It helps to mention where you're from. The reason being is that the regulations for an Ultralight in the US are completely different compared to the regulations for an ultralight in Canada. These regulations vary for each country.

Hell, even the definition of an ultralight is different between these two countries.
