How old do I have to be to buy an international plane ticket on Continental Airlines?

I want to travel to London this upcoming summer on Continental. I'll be 16 at the time. Can I buy a plane ticket without needing my parents?

I have the money so that's not a factor. I just want to know if I'd be able to fly to London alone and meet a friend there without needing my parent's signature or something.|||I am 17, and I live in a different country than my parents. I fly all the time (9 hours each way). You don't normally need a parent to sign for you to fly (most airlines don't require it), but as far as the ticket goes, you would need to buy it online with a credit card (which you are too young to get) or use your parents card (or one your parents gave you [that's what I do]). You can try to buy the ticket at the airport, but I seriously doubt that any reputable airline will sell an international plane ticket to an unaccompanied minor. I take it your parents are going on a trip or something, and you want to skip off to london while they are gone?|||I can't answer but I also want to go meet someone in a dif country, im 16 now maybe 17 when I go if i go. %26gt;.%26gt;
